En mayo de 2021, fui incluido en la lista Empower 100 Ethnic Minority Future Leaders 2021 (EMpower 100 Futuros Líderes – Minorías Étnicas); no puedo expresar lo increíblemente feliz que estoy de ser parte de una lista tan prestigiosa.

En el contexto de las desigualdades raciales, el movimiento Black Lives Matter, la brecha de acceso en el lugar de trabajo, en el mundo corporativo, el acceso a la educación, la representación de razas y colores diversos, además de género, el estar incluido en esta lista, y en este contexto, es un honor increíble.

Aunque las empresas están empezando a prestar más atención a la importancia de la representación étnica, de color y de otras minorías, todavía queda un largo camino por recorrer. Aun así, creo que este es un excelente lugar para comenzar.

Esta lista fue creada por una organización que promueve y trabaja por un lugar de trabajo más diverso y representativo; la organización se llama INVOLVE. La lista cuenta con el apoyo de una importante red global de medios financieros; Yahoo Finance UK.

Felicitaciones a todos los que forman parte de esta prestigiosa lista. El panel de jueces de este año incluye, entre otros, a la ex directora de Yahoo! Finance del Reino Unido y actual directora de desarrollo de contenido creativo de Yahoo!, Liamma Brinded.

Me siento increíblemente honrado de estar nominado en esta lista, al igual de quienes están incluidos en esta lista; trabajar hacia un lugar de trabajo más diverso y representativo es una estrategia imperativa que debe avanzar ahora.

Me siento increíblemente honrado porque soy el primer colombiano en ser incluido en esta lista, pero también soy el único colombiano incluido en esta edición de lista (2021). Estoy muy complacido y espero que los adolescentes, estudiantes universitarios y recién graduados en Colombia y en cualquier otro lugar, vean esta lista como una inspiración para trabajar en lo que los hace felices y de alguna manera vean a las personas en esta lista como alguien con quien pueden identificarse y relacionarse.

El fundador y director ejecutivo de Involve, Suki Sandhu OBE, que también forma parte del panel de jueces, dijo: "Estoy encantado de celebrar otro grupo increíble de minorías étnicas y modelos a seguir que defienden la inclusión e inspiran a la próxima generación de Talento. La discriminación y las barreras para el éxito todavía prevalecen para los grupos étnicos minoritarios, y los modelos a seguir son esenciales para cambiar las percepciones y mostrarles a todos que se puede tener éxito en los negocios y al mismo tiempo ser auténtico en el trabajo ".

In May 2021, I was included in the Empower 100 Ethnic Minority Future Leaders 2021; I can't express how unbelievably happy I am to be part of such a prestigious list.

In the context of racial inequalities, black lives matter, breach of access in the workplace, the top of the corporate world, access to education, representation of a diverse race and colors, also gender, to be included in this list, and this context is an unbelievable honor.

Although companies are starting to pay more attention to the importance of ethnic, color, and other minorities' representation, there is still a long way to go. Still, I believe this is an excellent place to start.

This list was created by an organization that highlights and works towards a more diverse and representative workplace; the organization is called INVolve. The list counts with the support of a significant global financial media network, Yahoo Finance UK.

Congratulations to everyone that is part of this prestigious list. The judging panel for this year includes, amongst others, the former head of Yahoo Finance UK and the current director of creative content development for Yahoo, Liamma Brinded.

I am incredibly humbled to be nominated on this list, as many of the fellows featured in this list; working towards a more diverse and representative workplace is an imperative strategy that needs to move forward now.

I am incredibly humbled because I am the first Colombian ever to be included in this list, but also I am the only Colombian included in this list edition (2021). I am delighted, and I hope that teenagers, university students, and recent graduates in Colombia and everywhere else see this list as an inspiration to work towards what makes them happy and somehow see the people in this list as someone they can identify and relate to.
